Niku Shiki is the embodiment of Japanese culture and tradition, combined with a lifelong passion for showcasing premium Wagyu Beef in our modern Japanese menu and fresh take-home products.

Located in the heart of The Glen, our extensive Japanese menu includes an exclusive selection of premium Wagyu Donburi, with caviar and foie gras complementing the rich and indulgent MS9 Wagyu beef. Savour a perfectly cooked Wagyu steak and let our Chef’s guide you through our selection of high-grade sushi, and meat platter options that are just perfect for sharing.

Our kitchen is led by renowned Executive Chef Yasuo Matsuike, who’s experience spans globally, from apprenticing in Japan to master traditional Japanese cuisine, before heading to En Japanese Brasserie in New York and more recently as a Chef at Nobu, here in Australia. Matsuike San is Co – Founder & Owner of Niku Shiki, bringing decades of experience in the art of Wagyu.
